5-axis CNC machine

Overview

A compact, high-precision 5-axis CNC machine prototype designed for machining intricate parts from non-ferrous metals, waxes, and plastics. The machine features a unique composite bed made of ceramic granite reinforced with rolled aluminum, providing exceptional vibration resistance and rigidity. It includes a modular design for cooling, vacuuming, and other systems, allowing for cost-effective customization. The machine achieves tight tolerances of less than 10 microns, making it suitable for medical implants, jewelry, and precision engineering.
